Becoming a leader in any setting, but particularly in a workplace can be very challenging. People often find themselves in leadership roles with little preparation or prior experience. Yet they are expected to make complex decisions, motivate a team of people to succeed and produce results with little or no support. Even the most capable people describe leading others as the most challenging, complex and occasionally rewarding experiences they will ever have.
Our job is to develop the capabilities and confidence of people who are working in management roles or aspiring to a management role. Our team of highly qualified and experienced facilitators focus on developing leadership capability through the use of practical, real life challenges and experiences to share knowledge and provide participants with a set of leadership tools that they can apply immediately in their own workplace.
We achieve this through a mixture of workshops, individual learning activities and one-on-one coaching that is tailored to meet the individual needs of our busy participants. The qualification can be undertaken within 1 year or up to 3 years depending on individual circumstances and our approach is completely flexible. We provide all the learning materials and resources you will need to complete the qualification and assessment of competency is achieved through setting practical, work-based projects and tasks that are relevant to the participant’s workplace.
The qualification consists of 12 units of competency (4 core/compulsory units and 8 elective units) aimed at building personal effectiveness, leadership skills and particular capabilities depending on the needs of the individual participant.
The Personal Effectiveness Module consists of two x one day workshops as well as self-paced learning and coaching, our Leading People Module consists of three x one day workshops combined with self-paced learning and individual coaching and the elective units are offered via a combination of either workshops and/or self-paced learning.
