
She has extensive experience across a range
of industry sectors in Tasmania including the not-for-profit, manufacturing,
agri-business and retail sectors and has operated SCT since 2001. Prior to starting SCT she worked in
management and HR management roles in the private and not-for-profit
sector.
She has a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Certificate in Journalism and is a qualified trainer and assessor. She is currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning and has a strong interest in adult education and learning. She is also a Certified Professional Member of the Australian Human Resources Centre and has been on a number of not-for-profit boards in Tasmania.
She is also assists with the running of the Light the Way Learning Centre Study
Club which provides study support for former refugees and asylum seekers on a
weekly basis and has an active involvement in supporting new arrivals in
Tasmania.
Kirsten has two children and in her limited spare time likes
gardening, bushwalking and travel.
